I found out today that an original design of mine has been accepted and will be published in an upcoming book this fall. It's nothing fancy, nothing intricate, but it was my idea from start to finish, with some input from our faboo Customer Service Manager Linda who helped me figure out how to make my idea come to life in yarn. I'm so tickled I can barely stand it.
Oh and I would be remiss if I forgot to mention that several other members of our equally faboo staff also will have their projects included as well. They are all so talented! Congratulations to Linda, Kirsten and Karen (I hope I'm not forgetting anyone - I know you'll tell me if I did!).

whoo hoo! congratulations kathy!
Congrats Kathy and all others at Webs!
Sheesh! Next thing you know you'll be writing a book!
Congratulations! I knew you could do it.
Congratulations! That's great!
Congrats!! :)
I got my first ever order in from Webs last week (it was what I spent my birthday money on :) ) and everything was great. I got the large blocking board which was sooo wonderful and the yarn from the sale (Cascade 220) is so yummy that I can't wait to do something with it.
I gave your number to my hubby for Mother's Day spoiling, so hopefully I'll be getting another Webs order in soon.
wow! you (and the other folks) have been published! that is so great. i guess you really have stopped banging your head against the wall! (i hope you realize who this is from and understand the reference... otherwise, i just look like a nut!) anyway, congrats!!!!
Thanks everyone for your kind comments! I called my mom at 10 last night and she's not one that is easily excited - seriously, she is very supportive and all, but not easily impressed. She was impressed. Even at my ripe old age, it made me feel awesome (kind of awesome and 5 again, but awesome anyways).
Beth - I am totally with you - you are not a nut :) And thank you.
congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Congratulations Cathy, now you are a published designer! Your mother must have been so proud of you.
Baby Surprise
First let me tell you how much I enjoy your podcast. Even though I'm an experienced knitter, I always learn something new from Pixie.
I heard you were going to start Baby Surprise. A friend of mine and I have developed an easy-to-follow pdf file of this pattern. My friend created it in Excel and I simplified it in InDesign and created a line-by-line pdf file. If you would like to have a copy of this, please let me know.
