Guess What We're Getting!

Any guesses?

Did any of you catch Larry King last night? He was in Vegas celebrating the one year anniversary of Cirque do Soleil's "Love" - their Beatles production. I had to giggle at the coincidence, given my post title of yesterday.

Kathy

P.S. WEBS Staff - you cannot give away the answer and take away all of the fun.

Ohmigosh! Is it Dream in Color? Is it the kit for the baby sweater that the Yarn Harlot keeps knitting? (I've been obsessing over ways to see the Dream in Color yarn in person...) Oh, I'm probably SO wrong...

It's Dream in Color for the Tulip Baby Sweater! Look at those adorable little skeins.

Melissa - you may guess as long as it's before 9:30 am tomorrow (when inevitably someone will spill the beans to you).

We're really looking forward to having you in the store!

We need more guesses before I "reveal".

All I know is that it looks real nice. Does it come in sock weight? ;-)

I was going to guess Dream In Color too! (If we guess right, do we get first shot at the yarn?? lol)

Oh yeah, sock too :)

Dream in Color!!!! I recognize it!

Question: When will it be available? That is, when can we get it?

off to bed.

The winner is smbelcas! Yes, it's Dream In Color! You win "Name That Yarn". This may become the regular "feature" on my site. I think we've got something going. I am waiting to hear back on delivery but it should be soon.

So - to kit or not to kit, that is the question.

Thoughts?

Five of you guessed right - so there will be a fun prize. If you email me at kathy.elkins@yarn.com
with your mailing info, I will send you something. Katy - I know where to find you, so no worries. Cara - I think you knew the answer too and were hoping for more than the worsted that does the sweater. I know where to find you so there may be a surprise on the way to you too - just tell me the bathrooms got somewhat cleaned today :)

Dream in Color Tulip Sweater Kits!

oooh...Dream in Color! I swore no more baby items this summer, but if you kit it, Kathy, I may have to make an exception!

Why? Why do I not have CABLE???? WHY????????

Rats, I knew it was Dream in Color but I am two time zones too far west to be first to comment. Plus I got up late.

I vote for kits, as long as you're not losing money by making them. (And I don't even want to make the sweater---I tend to make items small enough that I can get 4 or 5 of them out of a 4oz skein, so I'd get the kit just so I could make several small things in different colors.)

Kits and non-kits, as far as I'm concerned! I've been dying to try this yarn!

How exciting -- I've been hoping you guys would carry this yarn!

Deborah said...

Yes! Kits, please!

Unknown said...

Non-kit for me, but regardless, I'm so happy!!!

Can I buy a kit the moment they're available???
